Hello & Welcome!
I am excited to begin my path as a therapist with Embrace Recovery & Wellness. I have a variety of experiences working in a social service capacity within both the community and school settings. Most importantly, as a mother of triplets, I learned to juggle the joys and challenges of life. Through my personal and professional experiences, I have learned that everyone can grow, change, and overcome challenges.
I am a person-centered counselor who brings both creativeness and humor into the therapeutic process. I utilize mindfulness, cognitive behavioral, and emotion-focused approaches to encourage healthy thinking and behavioral patterns. With an authentic, transparent, and direct approach, I will hold a non-judgmental, safe space for you on your path toward healing, growth, self-discovery, and overall well-being. My approach is collaborative, and together we will design with you an integrative plan, customized to your needs and goals.
I am currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of the Cumberlands and hold a Counselor Trainee License. While interested in many populations, I am especially interested in treating people struggling with substance use and recovery issues, trauma, mood disorders, adolescents and infertility.
