    Hello & Welcome

I am a nurse practitioner certified in psychiatric mental health. I pride my work on providing compassionate client-centered care. With a background in mental health, I know that there is not a “one size fits all” approach when it comes to an effective individualized client treatment plan. My goal is to create a safe and trusting relationship where we can work together as a team to guide you to live the life you desire. I have 8 years of experience working with those struggling with mental health needs. For the last 4 years I have worked closely with individuals who have substance use disorders. My experience includes treating those with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, personality disorders, sleep, trauma/PTSD, and substance use disorders.

I obtained my bachelors of nursing from Indiana University East and my masters from Walden University. I am also certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. I took on an education role during my time as a nurse in a local organization to inform all medical staff on mental health. I helped implement policies and procedures within the organization that allowed patients seeking mental health treatment access to a place of safe, compassionate, empathetic care.

I have always been passionate about mental health and equal access to quality care for all. This passion comes from both personal and professional experiences. Growing up, I have watched many people I care for struggling with mental health, never seek the help they so desperately wanted in fear of the stigma that comes along with a mental health diagnosis. I have dedicated my life to bridge the gap between those who do not understand mental health and those struggling with mental health by advocating and educating to break the stigma.

I view the use of medication as a way to create a stable platform so that therapy and self-care can provide sustained relief and recovery. If you are ready to start you journey towards healing, you have come to the right place.
